We have seen Nuketown map in Call of Duty in eight years again and again in some form other and it is back again in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with a new look that Treyarch teased on Tuesday.
Just a couple of days before release, developer Treyarch gave the the first look at the new version of Nuketown by sharing an image of the Nuketown sign in a tweet, the same type of sign that’s appeared in every variation of the Nuketown map. This time the sign is covered with the snow with in the tweet indicating that Black Ops 4’s version of Nuketown will be set in a frigid, Russian environment. The tweet roughly translates to “Visit US again … For the first time here” followed by the Nuketown hashtag.
Players have been witnessing Nuketown in one way or another, it seems Nuketown has become a tradition for Call of Duty games. With Nuketown Treyarch is also releasing 14 other multiplayer maps. But Nuketown will be making its appearance a bit later in November.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to Ben released on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
